Preparing for a QHHT (Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique) session isn’t complicated. In fact, the most powerful sessions often happen when clients arrive relaxed, curious, and willing to let the experience unfold naturally.
Five Ways to Have an Awesome QHHT Session
Whether this is your first time exploring hypnosis or you’re already familiar with inner work, the following tips will help you feel confident, prepared, and supported before your QHHT session.
1. Release All Expectations
As you prepare for your session, think about any specific you have and what you may want to have answered during the session. Do you want to explore a repeating pattern in your life? Would you like to understand and release a fear? Have you felt “blocked” from the changes you keep trying to make? Take some time to sit and think about how life is going right now, and what you’d like life to look like a year from now. Although this personal exploration is important, one of the most helpful things you can do before a QHHT session is to let go of expectations.
Every session is unique. What you experience may be completely different from what you expected! Some people expect vivid images or dramatic scenes. Visual experiences aren’t the only way to experience a session. Some people experience ideas, concepts, emotions, sensations, thoughts, or simply a deep sense of knowing. There is no “right” way to experience QHHT, and you can’t get it wrong.
Your subconscious mind has its own plans and timing. It will show you what you need to see, not necessarily what you thought you should see. Letting go of expectations creates space for the experience to unfold organically. The subconscious will only show you what you are ready to process, and it is always shown in a way that feels safe to you.
2. Don’t Edit Your Thoughts
During a QHHT session, you will be asked to describe what you’re “seeing” or what comes to mind. The key is to say the very first thing that pops into your awareness, without judging or analyzing it.
That first response — whether it’s an object, a word, a feeling, or even “nothing” — is often the most meaningful. Don’t try to understand it right away. Simply share it and let your practitioner guide the experience.
QHHT works best when you allow information to flow freely, without filtering it through logic or interpretation. Trusting that first impression helps deepen the experience and keeps you connected to the subconscious rather than the analytical mind. Your conscious mind is the analyzer. Our goal is to relax the conscious mind and let it sit back, allowing the subconscious to move forward. The less you edit, the more you relax.
3. “See” Further, Explore
When prompted to describe more detail, allow your awareness to expand naturally. Your mind knows how to cooperate when given permission. Don’t force the journey, just keep walking it.
If you’re invited to “describe what you see”, let the imagery, sensations, or impressions develop at their own pace. Step by step, the scene will expand. There’s no need to figure out what something means in the moment — meaning often becomes clear later.
The more you allow the experience to unfold without trying to control it, the deeper into hypnosis you can go.
4. Describe in Detail
When describing what you’re experiencing, details matter.
You are encouraged to share about colors, textures, sensations, temperature, weather, emotions, sounds, or even subtle impressions. Even if something feels vague or unimportant, describing it helps anchor the experience and allows the session to deepen.
The goal is to stay present with what’s unfolding. The more detail you’re able to share, the richer and more insightful the experience often becomes.
5. Keep Talking and Trust the Process
As the experience and memories begin to pop up, the best thing you can do is just keep talking. The flow matters and helps your mind move further into relaxation. The more you talk and describe, the more your mind can start “playing” and expanding the scene. These scenes aren’t supposed to make sense in the moment. You’re merely the reporter – observing and describing the scene. All the data you share will be processed by your subconscious.
All this reporting has a purpose. Later in your session, when the subconscious is talking, it will explain why you experienced the memories or scenes it showed! It will share the purpose of those scenes, why you needed to see it, and how it can help you now. And this will all be on your session recording, so your conscious mind can hear the answers and start analyzing later.
The Day of Your QHHT Session
On the day of your QHHT session, a few simple choices can support a smoother experience:
- Dress comfortably
- Avoid caffeine or other stimulants
- Eat a light meal beforehand
- Leave the rest of the day open, if possible
- Ask questions if you’re unsure or curious about anything
- And most importantly — let yourself enjoy the experience!
Arriving unrushed and comfortable helps your body and mind settle more easily into relaxation. This is a fun, meaningful experience! If you need 10 minutes in your car to decompress before entering – take that time! I’m here for you. I only book one QHHT session per day, so there’s no rush and no one waiting for your session to end.
Every hypnosis session is recorded from start to finish. You will receive a recording of your session, so you can hear everything that happened while you were in hypnosis. Most people retain a level of awareness throughout the entire session, but the recording helps with big picture understand and application.

After Your QHHT Session
After your QHHT session, we will talk through your experience, what you remember, and what I heard. You may remember everything, or you may not remember anything at all – both are normal. We’ll take all the time you need to unpack everything.
After you leave, give yourself time to integrate. Hydrate, eat nourishing food, and allow space to rest or reflect. Many clients find that insights continue to surface over hours, days, weeks, or even months after the session. Listening to your session recording can help reinforce understanding and clarity.
It’s normal for the experience to keep unfolding gradually. You don’t need to “figure everything out” right away.
Can I Do It Again?
Although most QHHT experiences are a “one and done” experience, you can do it again! I recommend clients wait about 6 months after a successful session before scheduling another QHHT session. This allows the mind some time to integrate the experience, healing to progress, and new questions to arise.
If the first session was challenging, you can try again whenever you’re ready. When a client’s session doesn’t go as planned, sometimes it just wasn’t the right time, or something kept the conscious mind too active. Don’t judge the results, just keep going! The next time is usually amazing!
Remember This
As you prepare for your session, keep this in mind:
- Everyone can be hypnotized — your willingness allows the process to go as deep as you allow.
- You are in control – you will not do or say anything you don’t want to do.
- Your subconscious only works in your best interest.
- You’ll experience what you’re ready for.
- And — you can’t do this wrong!
QHHT is about allowing the experience to unfold. When you arrive with openness, curiosity, and trust, you create the conditions for a truly meaningful experience!
If you have questions before your session, please don’t hesitate to ask. Feeling informed and supported is part of the process. You’re already doing it right!
