If you’ve run your Human Design chart online, you’ve probably looked at a diagram full of colored shapes and lines, read terms like Generator and Sacral Authority, and wondered where to start. That’s who this new session is for.
What Human Design is
Human Design is a system for understanding how your energy works, based on the date, time, and place you were born. It was developed in the late 1980s and draws on older systems like astrology and the I Ching. The 64 gates in your chart correspond to the I Ching’s 64 hexagrams. Your chart, called a bodygraph, shows nine energy centers. Some are colored in (defined) and some are white (open), and lines called channels connect them through specific gates.
You don’t need to treat it as literal truth to find it useful. I find it useful as a tool for self-awareness and self-acceptance. Seeing how you’re wired can explain why some things have always felt harder for you than they seemed to be for other people, and it makes it easier to stop holding yourself to a standard that doesn’t fit how you work. Most people read their type description and recognize themselves right away, and that’s usually when they want to know more.
The parts of your chart to learn first
A chart has a lot of layers, and trying to learn all of them at once can make it harder to use any of them. Two pieces give you the most to work with early on.
Your Energy Type and Strategy describe how your energy is built to engage with the world. There are five types. Generators and Manifesting Generators do best when they respond to what shows up in front of them. Projectors tend to have more success when they’re recognized and invited in. Manifestors work best when they let the people around them know before they act. Reflectors take their time with big decisions, often a full lunar cycle.
Your Authority describes how you’re designed to make decisions. For some people that’s a gut response in the moment. For others it means waiting out an emotional wave before committing to anything. Knowing which applies to you can change how you approach everything from a job offer to weekend plans.
What happens in an intro Human Design reading
The intro session is 50 minutes and costs $49. You can come to my office in Marietta or meet online. We’ll focus on your Type, Strategy, and Authority. If there’s time, we’ll take a first look at your Incarnation Cross and the gates and channels that stand out in your chart. You’ll leave with a copy of your chart and a 50+ page report, so you can keep reading after we’re done.
If you want to go further later, the full Human Design Analysis goes through your entire chart in depth.
Is an intro Human Design reading right for you?
It’s a good fit if you’re curious about Human Design and want to see whether it clicks before booking a longer session. It also works well if you’ve already run your chart and keep getting stuck on the terminology.
All I need is your birth date, birth time, and birth place. Birth time matters a lot in Human Design, so if you don’t know yours, reach out before booking and we’ll talk about options.
The $49 rate is available through December 12th, 2026. You can book your intro session here, or run your free chart first if you’d like to look it over before we meet.
