One of the most powerful (and fun!) parts a Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique (QHHT) session is your “list of questions“. This is the list of questions you want to ask your subconscious mind / higher self / soul. If you’ve been wondering what questions to ask, you’re not alone. Many clients arrive unsure of where to begin, or they bring questions that don’t quite serve them in the way they’d hoped. So let’s make the most of this opportunity! This guide will walk you through everything you need to know: why the list matters, how to write it, what to include, and what to leave out.
What Is the “List of Questions” in QHHT?
During a QHHT session, the practitioner guides you into a deep state of relaxation where your Subconscious Mind (also called the Higher Self or Higher Consciousness) becomes accessible. This is the part of you that holds the answers to everything about your life: your health, your patterns, cycles, your relationships, your purpose, and your spiritual path.
Your QHHT list of questions is the direct line of communication to that deeper wisdom. Once the subconscious is engaged, your practitioner reads each question to it on your behalf, and the answers come through you in real time. Think of it as an interview with your Subconscious mind. It’s an extraordinary process — and having a thoughtful, personal list ensures you make the most of every moment in that state.
Why You Should Write Your QHHT Questions in Advance
Writing your QHHT questions before your session — ideally a few days in advance — gives you time to reflect and get clear on what truly matters to you. Here’s why this preparation is so important:
- Clarity of intention: The act of writing your questions helps you clarify what you most want to understand or heal.
- No pressure in the moment: On the day of your session, you’ll be relaxed and in a deeply receptive state. Having your questions already prepared means you don’t need to think — you can simply receive.
- Deeper answers: Specific, heartfelt questions tend to yield the most meaningful and detailed responses from the Subconscious.
Your Subconscious is YOU. So it knows everything there is to know about your life — your past, present, potential futures, and the deeper reasons behind your experiences. You don’t need to provide context or backstory. Just ask.
23 of the Best QHHT Questions to Ask
The most effective QHHT questions are personal. They relate directly to your life — your body, your relationships, your purpose, your path. Think of the things that have puzzled, concerned, or called to you for years. Here are some categories and examples to inspire your own list.
Health & Physical Well-Being
- Why do I have [specific condition, pain, or illness]? Can it be healed?
- What is the best diet or lifestyle for my body right now?
- I have had [asthma, chronic pain, anxiety] since birth/childhood. Why, and can it be healed?
- Can you do a body scan of my whole body to check for imbalances?
Life Purpose & Direction
- What is my life purpose?
- What direction should I take in my career?
- I want to move to a new location. What is the best place for me?
- Am I on the right spiritual path for me?
Relationships & Soul Connections
- Have I had a past life with my [child, partner, sibling]?
- What is the nature of my connection with [person]?
- When will I meet my soul mate, or is the person I’m with the right one for me?
- How can I improve my relationship with [spouse, child, parent]?
- What is the root cause of my romantic relationship struggles?
- Why is my relationship with [person] challenging? Can I do anything to help it?
Spiritual Growth & Experiences
- Can I meet my spirit guide or guardian angel?
- How does my spirit guide / guardian angel communicate with me?
- Can I improve my intuitive or psychic abilities? How?
- I have always felt different or out of place in this world. Why?
- Years ago I had a strange dream/vision/experience. What was that, and why did it happen?
- I have a lifelong fascination with [subject]. Can we explore this in depth?
Abundance, Confidence & Personal Growth
- What is blocking my financial abundance?
- How can I feel more empowered and self-confident?
- How can I create more peace and balance in my life?
Questions to Leave Off the List
Not all questions are well-suited for a QHHT session. To get the most meaningful answers, steer clear of the following:
- Questions about others, not yourself: “Why is my sister so difficult?” focuses on her journey, not yours. Instead, ask: “How can I improve my relationship with my sister?” Keep the focus personal. This session is for YOU.
- Leading questions: Questions that assume a particular answer or carry emotional charge can limit the response. Trust the Subconscious to know what you need — keep your questions open-ended.
- Yes/No questions without context: “Should I do X?” often produces more insight when reframed as “What would my life look like if I chose X?” or “What is blocking me from making this decision?”
- Questions driven by fear or obsession: If a question comes from a place of anxiety rather than genuine curiosity, consider rephrasing it. For example, instead of “Am I going to die from this illness?” try “What do I need to know or do to support my healing?”
10 Questions from Real Life QHHT Sessions
In my practice, most people have shown up with no idea what questions to ask! Throughout our intro chat, we end up building a list of questions to ask in their QHHT session. Here are a few of the real questions clients have recently asked during their session with me:
- Is there anything else I can do to help improve the situation at home?
- What can I do to help feel more like myself again?
- What unconscious belief systems may be holding me back?
- What hidden creative passions or interests should I spend time exploring?
- What is the significance of the owls who keep visiting my window?
- How can I dream bigger?
- How can I get more awareness and clarity around my needs and desires?
- What can I do to feel more comfortable in and connected to my body?
- What will help me create more opportunities?
- I had this dream [describes dream]. What was the meaning of that dream?
Tips for Writing Your QHHT Questions List
- Aim for 10–20 questions, then rank them in order of importance to you. Sessions vary in length, and your practitioner will cover as many as possible.
- Write from the heart, not the head. The questions that feel vulnerable or have weighed on you for years are often the ones that yield the most profound answers.
- Be specific where it helps. “I have had pain in my lower back for seven years — why?” is more useful than a general health question.
- Trust the process. Your Subconscious already knows everything. You don’t need to explain or justify your questions — just ask.
